I absolutely love this game. As a person who played both the original fes and portable, I can definitely recommend both new comers to the persona franchise, and OG's who have been curious about the remake. I loved it, and I can't wait for The Answer.

They are well-written and honestly touching at times, finally allowing your bros to be fully realized characters. And some scenes get other party members involved to showcase a better group dynamic that feels like a natural extension of Persona 3's ethos.

Two of these residents are Social Links, and failing to rescue them will prevent you from spending time with them the rest of the playthrough. If the Social Link has already been maxed beforehand, then they won't appear during the epilogue.

Quality of life improvements like text messages help keep track of what's available daily during the day and night, and the on-line activity tracker gives you an idea of what other players have prioritized. Both are clutch for quickly deducing what's important and discovering much of the new content that bolsters Persona 3's existing world.

The Dark Hour is a hidden hour of the day where once the clock strikes midnight, most of humanity gets transmogrified into coffins while they sleep, and Gekkoukan High School transforms into a gigantic tower known as Tartarus.

If my main character goes down and the other party members are still alive, then why should I not be given the option to revive them? After Soul Hackers 2 and Persona 5 Tactica ditched this rule and incorporated smarter and more logical penalties for not keeping the main character alive, I thought Atlus had finally decided to remove it from future mainline Persona titles.

Not to mention, I didn’t have to fret about starting the entire game over again because persona 3 reload gameplay the Fatigue system punished me for wanting to be extra prepared.

It finally feels like I'm truly exploring, experiencing, and learning the geography of Tatsumi Port Island instead of merely hovering above it.

In my playthrough that ran more than an hour, though, I didn't feel at all like Reload was covering the same ground, even if it basically is. The added gameplay elements, updated graphics, tweaked areas and social links compel me to sink another handful of months into getting to the bottom of Apathy Syndrome with the S.E.E.S. crew.

On a side note, if you grew up playing the original Persona 3’s English dub version, you may recognize some familiar voices making nostalgic cameos in the remake amidst the NPCs.

There are even some quality-of-life improvements, like accessing a shortcut menu that will allow you to fast travel to the next floor of Tartarus once you have located its entrance.
